still won’t change the money inequalities – as long as things are funded with local property taxes – poorer neighborhoods will always be F _ _ _ _ _ and i don’t think you will convince the well off to share

The pros keep rotating draftees into the minors for years before they show that they are ready for the majors. We need to stop throwing recruits into pro league situations that weren’t covered in school-level games.

And they should be so highly paid that there is a line out the door of the district HR office and if someone can’t hack it as a teacher they should become lawyers or engineers or such.

Do it like military academies. You owe 6 years where we need you, rather than student debt. Same for doctors & nurses.
