I’ve told the same joke to my mom by saying I’m not in the backseat. Here’s a word of advice. Don’t try it with a taxi driver because it can up your fair if you cause him or her to make a wrong turn.
My mother did that one time too often. I pulled over and suggested that if she thought she knew so much more than I did about driving my car she could walk. She never said a word whenever I drove again.
I just drove to Vermont with my wife and mother-in-law for their relative’s funeral. So counting the GPS, I had THREE female voices telling me where to go!
