Our dogs were well trained and did not disturb the tree or presents. The only ones they got into were theirs when it was presented to it. Then it was off to the races.
Sis’s boss Onyx will be staying at grandma’s again while sis is away for Xmas. Mom has already announced she’s putting silver bead garland on her tree instead of “cat floss” (so called in the family ever since mom’s old boss Sam ate a piece & went around for days afterward with a slowly growing shiny string hanging from his furry butt – she called the Dreaded V.E.T. & was told to let it work its way through as long as he wasn’t having any other problems…he passed it just fine, lucky cat!).
Carmy has reached the point, after many hours of correcting her actions, to be pretty well behaved. She still loves to tug kitchen towels off of the appliance handles though. We have trained her to stop running around with our shoes and instead she will retrieve them and hand them to us
I can’t wait for the Christmas lead-up, Brian. What will those wee tricksey beasts be up to? Our Echo & Flash would chase one another up our tree; we learned to anchor it and stop putting tinsel on the tree or ornaments on the lower part. That “Fat-Bottomed Girl” is going to have a wonderous experience with her first Christmas with the Anderson family…her Forever Home. Lucky you guys. Love Annie’s expressions today. Thanks.

Our St Bernard doesn’t know how to be naughty, no trouble there
Now the 4 cats on the other hand …

Then you have the cats, who try and think of new and inventive ways to knock the tree over…or eliminate it entirely…

My Lab can actually help unwrap presents…of course, we are careful not to wrap anything that smells edible!
