reminds me of the old Baltimore Colts game against Green Bay where running back Tom Matte had to start at quarterback for the Colts (https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/when-an-nfl-team-turned-to-a-running-back-to-play-quarterback-122413)
A reference to the Vintage Oakland Raiders when George Blanda (then a place kicker and previously a QB) and than Ray Guy (primarily a punter but also a all american DB in college) as their 3rd string QBs.
Puts me in mind of Sonny Jurgensen and the behind the back throws he used to do. Amazing 20 yard arrows. Usually it was just showing off before games and such.
The only time he ever did that in a game, it was an emergency, he was about to get sacked in a game against the Eagles in ’61.

Pittsburg seems to be getting by rather well with their 3rd-string QB.
