Anything the government does which serves the will of the majority of the American people is a power grab, according to Moscow Mitch.

Not the first time, but definitely the most damaging outcome, ever.

He’s a damn public servant, he’s not guaranteed a job, and he’s not doing it, anyway.

    ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!!!

Why is THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN AMERICA the ONLY ONE where the LOSER can still be declared the winner based NOT on how many votes they got, but WHERE those votes came from?? Seriously… why is this ANTIQUATED and USELESS SYSTEM still in place

Support the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact in your state (15 states are already in, but enough to control the 270 majority are needed to activate it.) Check out where your state is on this proposal.

The only polls the GOP cares about are the ones that can be gamed by Diebold.

Thought experiment: let’s suppose that for the last few centuries we had had direct elections for the presidency, the same as for Representatives and (later) Senators, and of course for governors, mayors, members of state legislatures, members of city councils and county legislatures, and so forth. Then somebody proposed an “Electoral College.” The inevitable result? He would be greeted with scorn and derision.
