Interesting article the other day based on an interview with a guy who makes a “decent living” making up right wing conspiracy theories, posting them on one of his web sites, and then harvesting clicks when he points at them on social media. The interesting takeaway for me: He has tried doing the same thing w/ liberal leaning falsehoods. Liberals tend to wonder if it’s supported by the facts, visit places like Snopes, and then don’t (much) repost. So he’s stopped: Not enough return return on his effort.
