I figured out it was Reacher a few days ago. Now I just started the Travis McGee series! Lee Child said MacDonald had a great influence on him. ‘Reacher is a fully detached version of Travis McGee’. Looking forward to it. Thanks Gary and Gerry!

He’d love Carl Hiaasen.

I think the McGee books have a little more depth. McGee is a bit more introspective than Reacher.
