Cobert Rornelius I could probably take a selfie with a camera like the ones they had in 1839 by simply pointing it at myself and clicking a picture.

For those who wanna know the link to the extra fact on Sundays, don’t subscribe without filters; and you will be able to see it.

Take care and may God bless.

Is the Dubai FD’s technique what inspired the Nintendo 64 game “Super Mario Sunshine” (or vice-versa)? (In which museum does one even find that one hundred eighty-year-old selfie?)

What? Illegal to photograph Eiffel tower in night? I’ll never waste my time visiting Paris.

Selfies are nothing new. I done it with a kodak brownie back in the 1950’s.

So, being a self-absorbed narcisist was a tendency almost 200 years ago? Good to know.

So, post the night-time photos in the daytime?

Whoever writes these captions needs an editor, seriously. This sort of thing happens just way too often to be considered professional.

My method for taking selfies was, with an Argus C-3, on a tripod, prop a slide-rule over the trigger, and under the light-meter, and pull the slider out to just where the weight wasn’t quite enough to trip, get in front and wait. Sometimes got a pix running into place, and some times waiting a long time. Kodachromes from 1964 still good.

In Scotland we would have just painted the tower with phosphorescent paint and saved money on the electric…
