Rall seems so over the top that it’s hard to take even this clear truth seriously. But we need to. Desperately.

That’s not technically completely true. There are a number of ways we can remove carbon from the atmosphere and limit some of that committed warming. However, it’s very expensive and there’s only a small handful of congresspersons willing to propose it on the federal (or any other) level.

BTW, this is one of the reasons why it’s so important to vote in the party primaries. It’s not enough to just vote in the general election to oust Republicans. We need to primary pro-corporate Democrats out of office and replace them with people who are willing to actually fight for climate change mitigating policies.

Not quite. Going green with renewable Solar, Wind, and Geothermal along with various Carbon-capturing technologies and environmental practices like reforestation can begin alteration in 12-15 years. Our removing the Trump butt-plug and releasing the Republican diarrhea is the first step in that direction.

Don’t worry. The GOP will still blame the Dems for “doing nothing about it”.

You could also be hearing it from a fellow ordinary American. Or Down Under from an ordinary Australian, where the government is also full of fossil fuel loving reactionaries with almost half of the population supporting them.

When some one claims that humans do or do not cause GW, tell them they are correct, but it’s irrefutable that we significantly add to the problem. Hard to deny that.

THE SOCIALIST SOLUTION: Cool, clean, & convert. First, everyone in the world whitewashes their streets, sending the sun’s heat back out into space—until the temp comes back to normal. Second, invent ways to clean the air, water, and land, and plants millions of trees. Third, put solar panels on every roof in the world. But since none of this makes profit, the profit system HAS TO GO.

Earth is already working on the problem. Let humanity make the environment inhospitable to sustain it and thereby kill itself. Then Earth can spend a few thousand years repairing the biosphere after we are gone.

It’s sad the other species have to be wiped out too in the process. But some must be sacrificed if all are to be saved.
