Just remember to vote in the upcoming primaries, Ted. There ARE people out there who want to work to make the lives of voters better, but they need everyone’s help to get on the ballot and to win in the election. And even if we do fail to get them on the ballot, we can at least scare the pro-corporate establishment Democrats into seeing that they need to clean up their act if they want to keep their seat for much longer.
Foreign aid is a problem.. but there are always strings.. Here, the “aid” most likely went to pay inflated prices for war stuff.. So the real beneficiary is the armament industry.
We do not give billions $ in aid, we do give American made items(which subsidizes American corporations/labor) such as in the Ukraine the disputed aid was American made military items or in other cases aid is food or credit to purchase items in the US. We do not just give them a check they can spend in China.
If trump is reelected he will be able to replace Ginsburg, Breyer and likely Thomas with 40 year old extreme conservatives leaving us with a 7-2 conservative republican Court until 2050.
Judging by the number of trolls commenting on this cartoon, FAUX news must not have had even acceptable drivel on TV. Notice how these trolls never use actual facts or statistics in their attacks on Democrats.
In my location, there are a very few in-network dentists and a myriad who are not. The approved ones operate very efficiently and see about twice as many patients per day as the others. And they have grouped up (to help cut down on costs of doing business) so you don’t even see the same one you saw last time except by accident. The higher priced ones give better results (an opinion) and are certainly nicer to deal with. And they all stay in business just fine. When I suggested to mine that he ought to get approved he just laughed and said that he’s as busy as he wants to be, and if he went with the insurance folk, his net income would drop by at least 50%.
I live in NY, it doesn’t matter who the Democratic candidate for president is she or he will win NY’s electoral votes. So, why should I bother to vote? If Warren or Sanders is the Democrat’s candidate either should easily beat the Orange Buffoon. Why should I vote? But, influential voices such as Obama and The NY Times are advising Democrats to be more centrist. If such a Democrat wins it’ll just be another Republican lite presidency. Why bother to vote for a neoliberal? So many reasons not to vote, the first one being the most compelling. Why bother to vote? Because I consider voting to be a civic duty and I have always voted. Because the Orange Buffoon and his Republican turdballs are repugnant to me and I want to add to those opposing the warped Republican agenda. I will vote because I must and I might vote a straight Democratic ticket for the first time ever. I can return to working with and voting for a third party in 2022 and beyond. Not next year, next year it’s anybody but Trump.

I don’t wonder at all about why some people don’t vote. I don’t respect them…but I don’t wonder about them.

Yeah, not voting is how you get into these situations in the first place.

Based on the last panel I’d say: “And you (who did not vote) wonder why Trump is President?” Don’t wonder, you put him there.

Again, maybe you should talk to a neurologist. There is no logic in “Things are terrible because I don’t vote so I may as well not vote again.”

All the fund raising, all the dollars reported in the news, all the record campaign funds set and broken in every election.
Think.
Why would they spend that kind of time and money just to get your vote?

Voting — at least voting in YOUR OWN INTEREST — is hard work, and is time consuming.
But, it you DON’T, Trump is what you get. And Moscow Mitch.
