Well, you know there’s the truth, and then there’s the whole truth. For example, “I was at a party at Mr. and Mrs. Perez’ house with 10 of my good friends, including Andy Perez, who is on the honor roll.” This may all be completely true, but missing details are that Mr. and Mrs. Perez are out of town, and there were a total of 100 or so people at the party, both boys and girls, and many of them had alcohol or pot. He just needs to figure out which facts to disclose, and Dad needs to come up with a strong cross-examination.
Husband and I are both mostly retired and both not “morning people”. So our normal day runs from 1 pm to 4 or 5am. We call the period we are awake “today”. in the records in my organizer, for example, this session reading comics will be listed as being done on Monday, November 25 even though technically it is 12:49 am on Tuesday, November 26. I do this with all finished records of what I did except for telephone calls which I time stamp on put on actual day of call (call to pharmacy at 1:00 am on actual Saturday morning will show up on Saturday am with time made) as it involves 3rd parties and might be needed for proof of a call someday.
Apparently they had a problem with the “Cats” movie based on reaction to the trailer – which had been out and then I have not seen it in a couple of weeks. The cats do not look like people would like them to look and they were upset about them and changes had to be made.

I have lived by that all my life. I have gotten away with more stuff because I told the outrageous truth and was never believed… ie.
Mom: "Where are you going?
Son: “I’m gonna go to a bar, hang out with my buddies, chase women, and drink beer.”
Mom: “Yeah, right. Where are you really going?”
