And then play the series backwards to see if the 7th game was even necessary. It may end up not counting ….

And for you millennials who hope that this means that soccer will start overtaking baseball is the national pastime—I’m sorry to disappoint you but I bet on average the World Series got better ratings than yesterday’s snoozefest of an MLS Cup championship game. Go Yankees!

This must be the same guy who decides what they play on country music radio stations.

They could start the games earlier (in the Eastern time zone). How can they get the kids interested in games that start at 8:30? I didn’t watch any game past the 7th inning. It was bedtime!

Try this…154 games,, a double header once or twice a season, playoffs start in September, WS over before Oct. Football just getting started, afternoon games Sat. and Sunday. Naaah, ain’t gonna happen

I think the teams playing kept people away. I was hoping for a Yankees Dodger series. And, the game has gotten so slow. Was each game around 4 hours long? After every pitch the batter has to step out and adjust his gloves. Overall, though, I did enjoy the series and I’m glad I watched. Rooted for the underdog Washington team. The other thing that distracted was the announcers talking about all the players who would be free agents and leaving at the end of the season.

You need to limit the games to three per week. If the players are too “tired” then call the game off. The playoffs should represented by ninety five percent of the league and series need to start at the best five out of nine games and increase at each level of the play offs. That’s what the Great Pumpkin and Tooth Fairy has suggested. Santa is too busy to comment and the Eastern Bunny has declined to comment.

I used to watch and listen to the games on the radio until they decided to make them all night games for “MORE” listeners. Shot my Saturday afternoons.

I remember Lindsey, Bob and Ralph. Now, it’s Gary, Keith and Ron. Congrats. to the Mets Polar Bear to being named Rookie of the Year! Now, if only I can feel good about the new Mets manager and the rest of the team.

Change the schedule to the following: Play the 4 other teams in your division 18 times for 72 games, play the other 10 teams in your league 9 times for 90 games, total of 162. No more inter league play. If you must have it then play the other 10 teams 8 times and then all the teams in one division of the other league for 2 times. 162 games with a reasonable schedule. And bring back double headers, not just for making up rain outs.
