The only way you can continue to support Trump is to be ignorant. Ignorant people are not necessarily stupid; many of them are quite intelligent. They just don’t know any better. It is not a crime to be ignorant, but knowing that you are and choosing to remain that way should be.
Assigning an “action” to a political party is always an “iffy” proposition. Keep in mind that, while republicans still lay claim to the title, “Party of Lincoln”, old Honest Abe actually dropped the republican party in his 1864 run because he considered the republican party as too radical for his taste. Lincoln won re-election running on the “National Union” party
