He’s a destroyer. If he tries to do something non-destructive (I think maybe once in a great while) it will fall apart from incompetence; though he is “successful” when his aim is deliberately to destroy, such as opening national parks for mineral exploitation.
It ain’t just the trump. When U.S. Forces entered Bagdahd, (under the Cheney/Bush administration) the first building to be secured was the Oil Ministry. U.S. soldiers stood sentry there, within site of the Antiquities Museum and watched while the museum was looted.
I saw Eric Bolling on Sinclair Network today talking to Trump, telling him that withdrawing support from the Kurds (thus letting the Turks destroy them) and using our military to secure the oil supplies instead was “the most brilliant move I’ve ever seen”. Holy crap, what an ass smoocher.
That’s the same thing as the 2 Iraqi wars were about. They weren’t to protect “American interests” . They were to protect American corporate interests. At least Trump is honest about it.
Not to excuse Bonespurs, but that’s been the US attitude since the end of WW I, when Mobile put the House of Saud in charge and took over their oil production. Then of course there’s that KBR and other later companies run by the likes of Cheney, et al.

Trump is keeping to the American way on that. Use then abuse then abandon small allies to the big boys.
