Humans call it puddle water, dogs call it drinking and bath water!
How environmentally friendly is boiling, considering the energy consumption?
Use bottled water anyway; just dispose of the bottles in a responsible way.
We have an RO system so we can ignore boil water. Most cases its a precautionary advisory. During a recent hydrant flush our water looked like mud, but the RO was perfect. Cuts back on the overall life of the filters but we have safe water.
Go out and lick the dew. That’s what my dog does.
