According to the republican rule book, “Only Democrats can be impeached, or held accountable for republican offenses.”

Remember “Doublethink”? The GOP seems to have a particularly virulent case of it.

Although I started out as a Republican, I began voting more 3rd party during the Reagan years – but still voted GOP more than Democrat. However, the day the GOP impeached Clinton for lying about getting a hummer caused me to vote a straight Democratic ticket ever since.

William Jefferson Clinton was a competent, successful president with the sexual morals of an alley cat; Donald John Trump is an incompetent, unsuccessful “president” with the ethical and sexual morals of slime mold!

One was impeached by the House of Representatives, and one will be.

Clinton lied about his sex life? EVERYONE lies about their sex lives.

In the past only Republicans have impeached a president but none removed. Nancy can control when a impeachment vote would be taken. She should not take a vote unless impeachment and removal is possible. Democrats do not need to follow Republicans with a job half done.

Or maybe didn’t lie. There are geographic and age demographics in this country for whom “have sexual relations” means “sexual intercourse” and only that. I don’t believe anyone suggested that that applied to Mr Clinton and Miss Lewinsky.

Here’s the question: Why was a grand jury looking into Monica Lewinski at all?
