Let me get this straight; all he did was 2 socks? All that for 2 lousy socks?

At least have enough socks for a light load. That’s definitely a waste of utilities.

For all those who are knocking the effort, at least he tried. Has Luann ever tried or is always laying on the floor for her mother to pick up. Nancy should tell him great (to encourage him) and then explain how much clothes and how to (bleach for whites only) the next time (and hope there is a next time and a next, …).

As someone who hates to fold laundry, I consider 3 pairs of socks, underwear and t-shirts and a pair of jeans a full load.

When my son was in high school he came to me asking me to wash A pair of jeans and A shirt for him…I said fine, just go get the rest of your dirty clothes and we can do a load. No he just wanted that pair of jeans and that shirt. I said NOT HAPPENING and made him get the rest of the stuff and TAUGHT him how to work the washer and dryer. To this day some 30 years later he still does the laundry for his family.

Ok/ I need to go over that list of steps a few more times. I’ve never followed even half those steps since I started doing laundry at 18 and I’m currently 50. Of course with my upbringing i was never expected to learn to do laundry, cook etc. as that was women’s work and not something a man did.

I still haven’t figured out why I never found a wife to look after me. /s

“A” for effort. At least we know he understand how to operate the washer/dryer so there’s no excuse not to continue with larger loads. I love today’s strip! ;-)

I dated a lady who didn’t know how to use either. She took everything to the wash and fold service.
