Were Alex and JJ playing Sorry when the phone call came?

As an Oklahoman, especially from Tulsa, I’m sure she’ll be happy to pay every penny of that hospital bill!

Mike will call and tell JJ and Alex to pack up, we are becoming farmers.

Mike doesn’t look very well-prepared to face reality when it strikes.

Woman had bad stomach pains and finally had an operation. Turns out it was out of network. So she owes $40,000. She had to cancel her wedding and elope. The hospital can charge whatever it feels like. This is the best healthcare in the world? By the way, Trump just made it so you have less recourse against your doctor or the hospitals, those pesky lawsuits are annoying to them. If they kill you tough luck. You still owe them whatever they charge!!

As a Canadian, I would sincerely like to know what Americans think are the BEST things about living in the States. It seems like we hear a lot of negatives these days, i.e. medical costs, politics, shootings, etc. etc. What are the positives?

I hear a lot of things about medical bills. People seem to want to have insurance to protect them from all that. Wouldn’t it be better to fix the institutions that charge the extortion than keep trying to find better ways to pay it?

I wouldn’t mind paying if they were perfect but they only practice medicine

Sometimes, (I’m not saying all) it’s better than reality because it helps pull you through the tough times.

Looking at Alex there just gave me a thought: What if there were a crossover sequence where Alex from here on Doonesbury met Alix from Stonesoup?
