I doubt we’ll ever know the truth, since “we” has members who won’t believe it isn’t a whitewash, should we end up without proof… and members who won’t believe he actually did that (or maybe, that it doesn’t matter) should we end up with proof. But I’m going to lean toward predicting that nothing will ever be proved about the call, and I’m going to lean toward thinking it (will be) a another whitewash.
This is the new America. Its’ okay to use foreign powers for malfeasance if you belong to the right (correct) party. How are we allowing this to happen? How is it that Donald Trump can control the narrative?
Somehow, Trump asking a foreign leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent’s family just doesn’t seem serious enough to upset a staffer to the point of becoming a whistle blower.
Are we sure this Ukraine business is the real problem?
How do we know it wasn’t something more serious that was overheard (like promising a Saudi prince military backup) and Trump is confessing to a less troubling wrongdoing to keep people from finding the true story?
