If Steve Kelley is so desperate that he has to dig into this pile of racist poop, Elizabeth Warren has clearly won.
Warren proposes ideas, policies and attracts enormous (exponentially increasing) support, and all Steve Kelley has is, really? The racist “Pocahontas” meme?
Justin Trudeau does not have any Native American or African ancestry.
To repeat yet again:
• Warren has repeated family lore that she grew up with
• Warren has NEVER claimed tribal affiliation
• Warren has NEVER received any special consideration or favored treatment based on claims of Native American ancestry
• Warren did note on a statistical form, AFTER SHE WAS HIRED, 30+ years ago, an incorrect interpretation of her family’s story. Before anyone whines or cries about a minor error, from which no benefit was derived, from more than THIRTY YEARS ago, let’s look at all the crimes, betrayals, infidelities, hush money, assaults on women, business frauds, financial frauds, and treachery against U.S. national security of Donald Trump.
• Every specific claim that Warren has made about her ancestry (what she actually claimed, not how racists Scott Brown or Donald Trump or Steve Kelley lied to distort it) has been proven true.
Speaking of hypocrisy, Trudeau dressed up as a dark-skinned Aladdin for a masquerade event 20 years ago, which apparently makes him racist according to many who would like to defeat him. Full disclosure: I once dressed up as Bugs Bunny for an ice carnival. I guess that means I disrespect rabbits.
By the way, at the time Trudeau was a language, maths, and drama teacher. In my experience, drama teachers tend toward the dramatic. Lighten up folks; there are more important issues than role playing for fun.
Trudeau is unlucky enough that some of his prior acts, which were unfunny then but now seem much worse have come to light (and back to life). We’ll see how it all plays out. Meanwhile, Warren did something wrong too: She trusted her family’s verbal history about being part native American. That turned out to be unprovable, and she’s apologized, in an appropriate forum, and she’s moved on. Among people who might vote Democrat, I’m reasonably sure that her unprovable genetic heritage will make an iota of difference.
Kelly putting her in that garb is funny. But not how he intended: It’s funny that he thinks this makes any kind of sense.
So Trudeau admitted it was wrong and apologized, but you just can’t let it go. But you can turn a blind eye to someone who commits sexual assault and child abuse.
You know, Steve, there are MANY more topics in the Social/Political/Economic worlds that merit attention than this. Do your editors think this helps sell their papers, or are they just as ignorant as you?

Warren honors a family tradition and an ancestor; SKELLEY adores hatred and white supremacy. He may be upset with Trudeau for apologizing.

Maybe with your next attempt at humor, you can try to be less racist, Steve.

This is a preemptive strike on Warren. Should she get the nomination, she’ll make mashed potatoes out of Trump in a debate.

Anyone who tries to draw any kind of equivalency in lying between tRump (thousands documented) and Warren are themselves a liar with sh#t for brains.

Wow, I’ll bet Steve thought he was clever, while everyone reading this comic thinks he’s an imbecile.

Stunning how many ways a really determined jerk can be off base, all at the same time. I’m referring to Mr Kelly.

Warren is starting to best Biden in the polls now, so get ready for loads more buckskin/headdress cartoons.

Cultural appropriation? That’s what you are doing, Kelley!
You’re falsely dressing Warren, whose distant Native American ancestry is said to be Cherokee, in garb belonging to the Sioux peoples.
