All you need is one person to post something wrong and social media and, BOOM, there you go. Try and post a correction on social media and……very little.
Human psychology is like that unfortunately. None of us are exempt from it. (That we know of.) Why eye witness testimony is not considered good. Though for a long time even with evidence eye witness was used over it.
