ALL the money comes from Big Oil spending bazillions on poopaganda so they can keep selling a product that KILLS PEOPLE, exactly like Big Tobacco (and supported by many of the same apologists).
THERE IS NO MONEY IN “BIG SCIENCE.”
I can show you the corporate executive billionaires at ExxonMobil, BP, Royal Dutch Shell, Chevron. Anyone who wants to claim there is some kind of fraud or hoax needs to SHOW ME THE BILLIONAIRE climate scientists, professors, field researchers, etc. who are supposedly profiteering from this fraud.
And there is NO INCENTIVE to fabricate climate change. Scientists conduct research, and a scientist does not make more or less depending on the outcome. The ONLY INCENTIVE is with Big Oil because they are making BILLIONS off a product that, like Big Tobacco before them, KILLS PEOPLE and they don’t want the BLOOD MONEY to stop.
Whatever research dollars are spent on climate science all goes to EXPENSES. It costs money to travel to Antarctica and all over the world and to run labs and buy equipment.
Sure, PhD scientists go to school for a lot of years, more years than those Big Oil executives and investors, and in return they make a decent MIDDLE CLASS income, but no one gets rich off of climate science (except the ones who sell out to Big Oil).
Not very long from now, there’s going to be a choice of having already done something or suffering serious, deadly, consequences. Folks who are actively obstructing the “doing” aren’t just exercising their rights, they are actively obstructing the survival of many of us. Say it again:
“Those people are _actively obstructing the survival of many of us!”_
When folks get in the way of the police or fire crew, they are moved, by force if necessary. This is bigger than a fire or a burglary. Why aren’t they being forcibly removed?
Ice core samples covering 800,000 years show that greenhouse gases have never been anywhere near current levels, but began this meteoric rise in the 1800s with the industrial revolution. The second graph in this report is an excellent short cut:

This week’s special double issue of Time is entirely devoted to climate change. It began with the publisher’s introduction to the issue, which prompted me to send this letter to the mag under the heading “NOT SKEPTICS!”:
Edward Felsenthal leads off Time’s special issue on climate change with an unfortunate phrase: “climate-change skeptics”. This does a disservice to true skeptics, who have the healthy mental attitude of being all about the evidence. You claim to have met space aliens? You’re telepathic? You’re the reincarnation of Cleopatra? You have a “miracle” cancer cure? Show me the evidence!
But when that evidence is not only forthcoming but available in massive quantities — as with evolution, the Holocaust, the Moon landing, and climate change — actual legitimate skeptics accept and embrace it. Those who don’t are more properly called refusers, deniers, or conspiracy theorists, and I strongly recommend that you henceforth adopt that more accurate terminology.
