Buster just wants to make friends. Or kill them. It’s unclear at this point.

There is such a thing as “too much dog”. Father bought a German Shepherd as “protection”. It could pull (more like drag, screaming) three of us boys on a leash, wherever he wanted to go. It broke logging chain and smashed its doghouse. In the end, Father “sent it to live on a farm”. It was a rural area, maybe it did actually wind up on a farm.

Now, try that with two young healthy hyper dogs.

Nothing like a prong collar to prevent that. And NO they don’t hurt the dog, they just get their attention. And you only put it on the dog when you take them out for their walk. Otherwise you put their simple collar on them. Always have a good laugh at women attempting to walk large dogs with a harness on the dog, seen more than one pulled off their feet and dragged. When approached and told the prong will stop that, they always say, “oh no, those are cruel”. Had two +100# German Sheperds over the years and they walked like angels with the collars.

There were times my wife walked our two dogs and told me they yanked her all over the sidewalk. I never had that problem!
