Well of course. Everyone should take their blow guns and tranquilizer darts when they go out to a fine dining establishment. There are some members of the public who simply have no idea how to act in polite company.
Once on a out of state biz trip I arrived at my destination on a Sunday morning. Nothing to do except visit a local gun show. I bought a plastic blow gun and some darts. Spent Sunday evening learning to shoot accurately at a target set up in my room. Returned to my home state to find that in my state blowguns are illegal……whoops!
While the cell phone could have been a factor as well, mainly Larry was quite rankled that Chad ditched in line and he got the “Our 10,000th Customer!” party… ☺

It appears that Chad was celebrating something, which may have raised the noise level a bit. Tranquilizer darts seem a bit harsh.

There are diners and then there are parties.
Larry firmly believes that the two should never meet.

It’s quite effective on blow hards.

Of course he does, cheapskate that he is.
Better tranquilize the other patrons at a diner’s than spending some dough and vine and dine his date at a more appropriate place. Sheesh.

The victim was chatting too loudly on his cellphone for Larry’s liking.

At that range, he could have just stabbed him with the dart.

Given how close Larry was.. a good backhand would have saved a dart

Larry likes it real quiet when he dines.
