Stop dressing up in your wife’s clothes.
You don’t know me. I’m not from Ballard Street.
mr_sherman raises the question: Is this Mrs Fanny Flagbottom, or her husband Fred? And whose beauty products are those? Is Fanny on a brief trip to visit her mother, leaving Fred to his own devices?
A question I ask myself every day.
Fred’s secret would remain that way, except once he forgot he was in his wife’s pegnoir and showed up at the Tiki for happy hour.
Alzheimer’s takes up permanent residence.
Whether it’s actually Fred or Fanny… it doesn’t matter….
at a certain age, you realise that the person in the mirror isn’t quite the one you remember.
I try not to look in too many mirrors….
but when I do, I have to wonder for a moment:
this woman…. she seems to move when I move…
and mimics the faces I make at her….
but… if she’s me… where did she get that face…. and what did she do to my hair?
If you don’t know by now who that is, better get another facial….
One has to wonder which words have the emphasis…
“Who in the world are you?!”
Sounds like someone did a naughty thing last night.. and now has a bit of remorse.
The often overlooked upside of memory loss.
Every day, I look in the mirror and ask the same question. One day, I will get an answer.
