There is NEVER any reason to NOT buy ice cream. Never mind the “lactose intolerant” issue. There is lactose free ice cream.
We had lunch at this really great Mexican place two weeks ago. Dessert was mint sorbet, the owner admitted he bought it at Smart&Final.
Did he actually buy himself an ice cream cone without asking his wife if she wanted one too? If my husband did that, I’d bloody well shoot him!
