Hong Kong and China are the biggest consumers of Brazilian beef and the rain forest is not the main source of our oxygen but irrational short term profit and satiating the need for beef leads to ruthless capitalistic outcomes that may be regretted in the long term.

He is directly complicit in lighting the fires and letting them burn.
A better analogy would be his blasting the forest with a firethrower.
