Some of my friends actually do hot-air balloon barbecue. You don’t inflate the balloon, but you hook up the propane burners, set em to the desired flame level, put a grill on top of em and food on the grill. Great for days when it’s too windy to fly the balloon.

Depending on what you did last Thanksgiving, maybe you’ll have a baby today!

I used to remember as a kid that Labor Day wasn’t just only a day off from school, but that it was the day that they had the Jerry Lewis MDA telethons that started late Sunday evening and last for 20 hours or so…

These days, there’s no one in sight …..

I don’t think I’m going to be able to waterski while being towed by a dragon today; they’re predicting thunderstorms all day.

Odd, I am retired and have been out of school for decades, but it does seem that Labor Day is the end of summer, even though I still have at least a month or more of nice weather to get out and enjoy.

Just another Monday for me,…but the streets are SO much quieter

Here in Chicago the weather is ideal (80°)…and I’m inside reading comics and making this comment!

It’s a different holiday for some of us here in India, but I can (sort of) understand the sentiment! :)
