That last panel reminds me as a kid. When I had to get a Measles shot. My mom distracted me. I asked the doctor when will he give me the needle. He said, “It’s all done my boy!” LOL
About 50 years ago, I was a patient in a military hospital. I went to the lab to get a blood draw. There was a lady with four small children waiting a turn with the “vampires”. She said I could go ahead of them. I told her that I sometimes passed out when I got shots. I told her that I didn’t want the children to be scared if they saw that. She went first!

That PA is great on drawing blood, last of August I had blood drawn from lab and she was great, I did not feel a pinch.
