A day or so ago, I commented that the AAP (All-Aryan Party formerly known as the GOP) had become a cult, listing several defining characteristics of a cult. Today, Trump validated my claim by proclaiming himself, and I quote, “the Chosen One.” He now joins the exalted ranks of Charles Manson, Jim Jones, David Koresh, to name but a few.
There’s a very clear pattern of following the lead of whoever most recently caught his attention. I think he’s jealous of people with unrestricted power, so if they talk, they have his attention. Not so sure about why he “hears” the NRA… maybe he just likes them.
