We’ve been having fun all summer long!

“After the boys of summer have gone…” Well there’s the earworm for this morning.

looks like the twins aren’t happy that it’s “the end of summer” (although it will last until the 23rd of this month)

I’m with the twins. even though it was hot hot hot, I still love summer

It was so hot this summer, but it’s still always sad to see it go.

“The Boys of Summer” is my own “end of summer” song too… even the video (when you can find it online) is gray, washed out and autumn-like in its look. :-)

I love the addition of just a few yellow leaves floating in the air.Buck up everyone! Fall is a beautiful, colorful season and I’m going to start decorating with pumpkins in a couple of weeks, followed by witches.

Gotta get through summer to have fall – Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Soon Dorian will change that.

Now I can’t get that song out of my head. Not that I especially want to: it’s one of my favorites, and definitely my favorite summer song. It’s Don Henley though, not The Beach Boys.

It’s still summer

on the calendar it may not be summer but it still feels like it! here down south the heat last till the end of September and even then it’s still warm. last year during December there was a high of 84 degrees for a week.
