Beto stayed in El Paso to comfort the survivors rather than politic at the Iowa State Fair. The El Paso GOP bused in supporters from east Texas and New Mexico, gave them Trump 2020 shirts and signs, and treated Trump’s “condolences” visit as a campaign rally.

The meme this week seems to be “blame the Dem politicians for being politicians” which is of course like blaming the sun for rising since the only politicians, without regard to political party, who don’t have their hand out have either retired or soon will.
