As a corollary to this, Pluggers often find that so called “child proof” medicine bottle lids are often “adult proof” as well.;-D

Or after you open the child-proof lid you’re faced with the adult-proof stuck on foil underneath that takes forever to get off.

That pill container is filled to the top! I never see that. My meds sometimes fill just a quarter of the container, but then I only have thirty in each one. I hope Chicken Lady’s okay!

All of our pills come in those horrible plastic and foil bubble packs.

I take seven different pills every morning. I take them all at once. Every so often I’ll spot one of the small ones on the floor.

My wife has these pills that are smaller than a BB and she takes half of one each day.

What I can’t understand is why, when you are supposed to go in once a year for your checkup, your doctor prescribes a medicine that you will be taking ‘the rest of your life’, but the pill prescription is only for ‘4 refills’ so that for the remaining 8 months, you call the pharmacist and the pharmacist has to call the doctor’s office for permission to continue the medicine. Having been on the same prescription for 15 years, it seems like it is a waste of the pharmacist’s and doctor’s time to do this — especially when it can take up to a week for the doctor’s staff to get back to the pharmacist and the pharmacist to fill the prescription.

It is a Conspiracy created by the Pharmaceutical Companies, Doctors, Opticians and Eye Glass Manufacturers. Meant To Create More Stress thus more Potential for them to Reap Bigger Incomes. The same reason for those " Child Proof" bottles and blister packs, etc. that you need a Well Equipped tool box to Get Into. You Know the " Tri-Openin’ " ones. ( Saturday Night Live )

I have to check around my husband’s place at the table after he takes his meds to find all the ones he drops. I am getting really good at spotting the tiny ones. The worst is one that is tiny AND black – it hides VERY well in the shadows under the table.

And how can that little pill travel so far?? You think it should be right in the area but it is clear across the room……and usually under something.

The smaller the pill the more expensive it is.

They not only fall, they disappear… even if there is no obvious place they could have gone.

Tamper proof is supposed to be the objective not open proof. Who ever designs the tamper resistant lid, should 1st have their fingers smashed with a hammer to simulate arthritis and then let them try to open a bottle or blister pack of medicine. Maybe then they’d find a better way to tamper proof medicine. I’m only kidding about the smashing part but you get the picture.

And your back won’t let you bend far enough to pick it up and the pick-up tool can’t hold onto the little bugger.
