I blame Mom and Dad. That is why you don’t leave a power strip where the kids, dogs or anyone else can easily get at it.

I’d be worried about how your light is shining a different color every time you turn it on.

Shades of Lupin in Breaking Cat News, repeatedly stepping on The Switch That Makes The Man Scream™, killing his computer…TBH, I think what the Man really needs is an Uninterrupted Power Supply – but that wouldn’t be any fun for the readers!

I saw something like that happen IRL, when sis’s old boss Zoe (my pic) & I were staying at mom’s. Mom came into the living room complaining that her computer had died & asking me to check it out & maybe call one of my IT-guy stepbros. On a whim, I checked the power strip where it was plugged in & sure enough, Zoe had stepped on it when she crawled behind some stuff under the desk to take a nap!

It was quiet, except for those flashing lights.

I found out the same way Sophie’s parent’s did that my dog has been determined to sleep behind the TV, burrowing past the cords and accidentally pulling them loose or lying on the surge protector switch. I keep blocking the way, he keeps finding a way past, thru, or under whatever I use. The small blessing in this is that I don’t have to worry about dust and dog hair drifts among the wires for the time being!
