Unless she is armed or somehow hits Tracy all she can do is to ease out and wait.

In other news, IDW has issued two 4-issue series of Dick Tracy comic books. There are no plans for any more anytime in the near future.

Things don’t go according to plan for both parties.

It becomes more interesting for Doc. Will he have another go at Tracy?

No flies around him so he must be really angry again.

As Sally looks at Tracy in panel 2, we can see his wrist wizard and that it is tracking the thermos. However, since she has failed to obtain the object it may prevent Tracy from discovering that Sally is the one trying to get it back. She in turn may realize the thing is booby trapped and end up leaving without it. And did anyone notice that in the last panel, in her panic and for the first time in this story, Sally’s musical note has disappeared? When upset, she drops the singsong quality of her voice.

The you know what is about to hit the fan!

Sally, you’re a big-haired redhead with yellow shades who sings instead of speaks – they won’t notice you at all…

My God, for a so called “professional writer” SOMEONE has a LOT to learn about story plotting and time management

They won’t notice a good looking red head wearing yellow tinted google? How focused/oblivious does Doc think Tracy, and, Co. are?

I think I’m gonna quit the Child Protective Services gig. I mean, most of those kids make it without my help anyway. Bugs, I’ve now learned that I got sawdust in my veins. I was born to be on stage! I’ll be an ACTOR! 3- BUGS: That’s great honey. You’ll probably make more money AND impact people’s lives in a positive way. You know, if the tables you wait leave good tips.

It looks like “Our Town” is going to become more dramatic and action filled than Thornton Wilder envisioned…

that IDW series of comics is interesting but is a whole other take on the Tracy Strip. Actually the stories move better than these snails and the artistry is good. There does not seem to be a plan past the 4th issue.

The problem for Tracy & Co. is that if Sally bugs out now, they’ve got nothing on her. (Or Doc.) She hasn’t grabbed the thermos back yet, and is, at most, guilty of impersonating a journalist. (Which isn’t technically a crime. I suppose you could charge her with fraud, but I don’t think it would stick since she hasn’t tried to get money out of her imposture.)

Sally’s Great Plan is shattering on the rocks of People Present, including Dick Tracy!. Little Doc is just across the street; about to do something rash?
