What we could all use right now.

As she leaves a trail of little rainbow-colored “jellybeans” following her path…

I can relate to this—happens to me all the time when I’m getting rides in people’s cars to somewhere. I tend to be a quiet car-rider, so unless I actively remind them of my presence, sometimes the driver will forget I’m there.

Especially if I’m riding in the back.

I had liked the combinations of colors in the panels of this cartoon.

Phoebe’s got a five o’clock shadow going on in those last two panels :)

One of the best friendships I’ve seen was a friend of mine had a friend (not me) who would go over to his house just to read. They would literally sit in the living room and read their own books silently for hours. The friend would stay for lunch or something. Then after a while, friend would decide he’d had enough reading for the day and would leave. It was beautiful! They didn’t need to spend every second talking because they were so comfortable together. Of course, they did do some talking but most of their moments were filled just being in each other’s presence.

I had an argument with a girlfriend long ago. She stopped talking to me – It was a wonderful 5 years of peace and quiet…

She’s quite a word ninja to get an entire sentance out before surprising Marigold, though!

Marigold has gotten so used to Phoebe riding her, she doesn’t even notice her anymore. I also love the fact Phoebe can still wear flip flops.

So if Marigold were to join the band would she have to play in the horn section? I ask because of that sound she emitted in panel 4.
