As long as McConnell is Senate majority leader, there is no chance of a trial and conviction leading to removal from office. Impeachment is a pipe dream with no significant effect except possibly to increase turn-out among Trump supporters leading to another win for Trump by the EC vote with possibly even a smaller total vote fraction. Either those opposed to Trump come together to defeat him or we may be in for another 4 years of the destruction of our democracy and its institutions.
I think we expected too much from Mr. Mueller and he disappointed us. All we got was trump was not exonerated. We wanted a big blow and all we got was a little poof.
Odd, I was not under the impression that the majority of Democrats were looking to impeach trump at this time. I did see where Mueller showed Trump broke the law and can be charged after he’s out of office though.
I guess Tim was watching the Fox news Entertainment Channel highlights.
If they were really hearing him, they would have gotten a clue…pathetic govt. We have the right, the GOP protecting a criminal, and we have on the left, the DEMs looking for the family jewels…..
