So… how can a salmon linger long enough in a river to become a legend like this? Don’t they typically swim back upstream once a year, breed, and then die?

That was salmon chanted evening Sedine. Now either throw him back or gut and clean him. I caught a six foot sturgeon a few years back. It was over the limit and had to be thrown back. Didn’t cough up any rings though.
