The debt ceiling will have to be raised. Not doing so would allow Trump and the Republicans to do a lot more stupid stuff — and, of course, they would claim they were forced to do so by Nancy.
I don’t pretend to understand it all. I guess raising the debt ceiling is much like giving me a higher credit card limit because i can’t pay what I already owe (and am habitually late paying). And tweaking the APR.
The Democrats and Republicans are just the two branches of the Money Party (thank you George Carlin) although the 2018 elections do give me faint hope that might change.
