“Frazz, can I have the scuffed-up paddleboard NOW, or do I need to beat around the bush some more?”

Great story line to follow! These deserve to be read thru a few times.

Kid would rather have Frazz’s board than a new one. High compliment.

Of course he’d rather have Frazz’s. Years from now it’ll be worth millions, given that it was once owned by He Who Chooses To Walk Among Us™.

Funny, I keep getting the notion that the sup is now a foot or two shorter than it was.

The kid is “the” clear winner. He gets a board and gets to work on his sense of balance.

Doesn’t this mean that Kyle now has two sups?

In aerodynamics, watercraft, board sports and probably human personality, it’s always been and always will be the trade off: You can have quickness or you can have stability, but you can only have so much of both. The best you can hope for is a compromise that suits your needs and the experience to enhance whatever speed or stability you were handed.

While slow and wobbly somehow work together without any compromise at all.
