Things Marigold is no longer allowed to do at unicorn reunions.

I thought there was a hair on my screen, on Marigold’s word balloon in panel three, and extending a bit into panel four. But it would be a very magical hair that managed to scroll along with the image. So the hair seems to have been on the original strip when it was scanned.

{shaking head in disbelief} this is going to go not-so-well

To be fair, Marigold is already way above the age where she doesn’t want to listen to parents.

I know a purple unicorn (it’s complicated) you’re going to be best friends with!

It must be said: this is a refreshingly honest and direct approach to teenage rebellion. Wish my kids would do this!

I’m wondering about the glasses. If unicorns are (supposedly) perfect and magical, why would they need them?

Father: “I love grass. Grass is wonderful. It would somewhat upset me if someone cut it all evenly, every two weeks, instead of letting me munch the tops of it…”

List of things to do: #1: make list. #2: check list. #3: double-check list. #4: make new list of other types of lists I could make.

This was easy.

“We do not like Lizsts. Nor their rhapsodies.”

I generally list a few degrees to the left, myself.

And the ultimate rebellion thus becomes… a bullet journal.
