If they say “Stone Soup” takes place in Oregon, then how come I never heard of that body of water? Is it near Bend, Medford, Eugene, Salem, Hermiston or elsewhere? I don’t even know my Oregon geography that well.

Thank Goodness for that decimal point!

Only good thing about Stone Soup becoming a Sunday only strip is there are fewer of these unfunny “Gotta Love August” strips.

Have the family move to Memphis. They’ll learn to hate August like the rest of us!

I hate August with the heat of a thousand suns. Summer is not my season.

Any place south of the Mason-Dixon line, August is unbearable. 85+ degrees, and over 80% humidity. The combination is deadly and draining.
