And I will reiterate what I’ve said, previously. When you take a person into custody, FOR WHATEVER REASON, you become responsible for that person’s welfare! If you don’t want that responsibility; DON’T take them into custody! It’s as simple as that.
Oh, and try to avoid idiotic statements such as,“They can leave any time they want”, or “The doors aren’t locked!” Such statements only expose your own stupidity!
