The two are essentially the same, though to be candid, I really don’t grasp the idea of a “tattoo” for any but religious reasons.

But I’m an Amerind so my culture is slightly different than most and, therefore, I try not to make judgments of others.

I find both options equally aesthetically pleasing, but I am a white suburbanite boomer so my taste is also not in line with an unfortunately large portion of our society.

Tattoos, like some other things done in one’s early years, often become sources of regret. However, unlike those other things, tattoos are permanent reminders.

The difference between the tattooed and untattooed is that the tattooed don’t care if your untattooed.

Thank heavens my son never wanted a tattoo, but he did get a tongue piercing with a ball. His tongue swelled up & he couldn’t talk well for a while but it subsided & he felt good about it. He still spoke funny but the good Lord have is a sign that it wasn’t the best thing for him when he swallowed the whole thing when it unscrewed! Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!
