Is 13-0 a soccer or football score?

The popularity of the Women’s World Cup is due, in part, to the fact that few if any nations pump the money into it that the USA does. Same deal with the past Winter Olympics: suddenly everyone loved a sport I had always personally enjoyed because for the first time ever the USA team was good. Call it what you will, but it’s 100% NOT any form of true sports fandom.

Both are hopelessly boring! I’d rather watch paint dry.

I think coverage of the NFL has gone way too far and so has the obsession with it BUT given this choice I would read a book!

Meh! Soccer (either sex) is boh-ring! NFL football has so many time-outs it’s a drag to watch, and the injury rate (especially brain injuries) is appalling. If I have to watch a football-type game, I’ll take rugby any time.

Loved soccer when I was a kid. Totally lost interest in it after puberty. I think both had to do with my preference for scoring.

Guess who is going to be sleeping on the couch tonight……
