Woo hoo, I get to stick around a little longer. I’m not sure I could have handled one more ‘gasoline/petrol’ strip. The problem is Mallett sets the bar so high, I can see how it may not always be easy to reach what has become expected by his fans.

After 18+ years of cranking out short stories at the pace of one per day, I now know that it is not, in fact, easier to make stuff up than it is to look stuff up.

I never had to ask what the test was for, because I’d actually learned the material. Really, that’s the easy way out.
