Free market capitalism is the unicorn of economics. Never existed. China is not a capitalist system, economically speaking it is fascist (as is Vietnam). Don’t bother running to Wikipedia for the definition, all their articles on the subject are written by socialists. Trump is for FAIR trade: China puts ZERO tariffs on U.S. goods; The U.S. puts ZERO tariffs on China’s goods. Repeat with every other country. The U.S. is the market they all want to sell to; this would not hurt them; it’s win-win.[Instead of the U.S. continuing to be Uncle Sugar with an open cash drawer: “Sell what you can, while blocking U.S. products; We won’t complain.”]
