It seems that those who actually READ the Mueller report — both Democratic and Republican — are the ones who conclude that high crimes and misdemeanors have been committed and that the only legal, rational and ethical path forward is to open the impeachment inquiries.
Sometimes you have to set political strategy aside and just DO THE RIGHT THING.
And no, Donald Dotard, the courts will not step in. Courts have no involvement over the direction of the impeachment process (other than that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides procedurally over the Senate trial) nor can an impeachment conviction be appealed (Trump’s suggestion that the courts might intervene demonstrates unprecedented Constitutional ignorance).
Just think about this! Trump has dominated the news for over4 years now…. EVERYDAY, what an EXASPERATING JOB FOR THE MEDIA….I HAVE TO SAY I WANT IT TO STOP…WITH ALL THE RED TAPE OUR GOVT PUTS US THROUGH, ITS A DISGUSTING DISPLAY OF PARTISAN POLITICS. STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF!
All of these political stuffs are just smoke screens. The Republicans are slowly dismantling many regulations so they can line their pockets behind the scene.
McTurtle has already said he will not conduct a trial, so the house impeaching will just ensure D2S’ second term, all the while whining about how unfair it is.
Just a few questions: What are the odds of a Senate majority in 2021? What are the odds of close to the 2/3rds majority in 2021? I have no good idea about the first question. I suppose the answer to the second question is “probably not”. However, I expect that Ms. Pelosi knows the actual answers better than anyone.
