It is said that ‘mosquito fog’ is not dangerous to humans because the amount of mosquito-cide is so small. So, when a guy in a mask and hazard suit fogs a yard with anti-mosquito spray, one shouldn’t worry about one’s own health? Can one assume that the person who mixes the stuff in the tanks has done exactly to specs? Or that anyone really knows the long term effects on pets and wildlife? Yes, I know there are countries where mosquitoes are a source of deadly disease, but, in the average suburban yard in this country, there are other means of reducing the mosquito population that don’t offer quite the unlimited possibilities for future health problems.
If you really wanted to commune with nature, you would let all the mosquitoes, flies, ticks, chiggers which wished feed off of you. A little hypocrisy goes a long way.

I suppose we are all eco warriors and eco terrorists, depending on how you view mowing your own lawn. Think globally. Act locally.

Pity that all of the people using Roundup weren’t dressed that way.

Communing being a synonym for destroying?
