Not some female that wants her agenda.” and “We’re funding everyone on the planet and I’m tried of it. At least Trrump is doing something.” and “I don’t care if he is a pathological liar, all politicians are liars. Trump is keeping those immigrants out!…Why yes, my grandparents came from Italy, but that’s different.” [NYTimes 5/21/19 p.A10]
And yet it’s reported that the Big Orange is wildly popular in the blighted industrial areas of the US. Why on earth? Is it because they agree that all their problems are caused by hankerchief-heads, illegal immi-grunts, and Chinese imports? Same thing with farmers . . . ? Do they all get their “information” from Fox Noise?
Some very interesting numbers in a just released Quinnipiac Poll.
President Trump’s numbers are 38% approve, 57% disapprove. On May 2nd those numbers were 41%-55%. 54% of voters say they would “definitely not vote” for President Trump. 31% say they’d “definitely vote” for him.
I got a robocall the other night on my answering machine that started out with a femal voice telling me to stand by for a message from tRump. I erased the message at that point. Then I heard that it was going to be in Lycoming county and I figured it was an invitation. Apparently the number I have had for 10 years was once used by a Republican as I always get these spam calls around election times. Yeah, I’m going to drive all the way there in the dusk and drive home in the dark for nothing.
